About Me

My name is Brittney. I'm 24, and slowly discovering my way through the art world. I say that, but I've actually been an artist since I learned to hold a crayon. I've been told that I'm very impetuous. Some people get offended by that word. I, however, take it as a compliment. I'm proud of the fact that I don't think before making decisions, because that means that I don't think before I start creating. I paint, I knit, I cook, I bake, I draw, I (attempt) to sculpt. I'm a musician, a photographer, a mother to two puppies, a girlfriend to one man, a sister to one lady, an aunt to one boy, and a daughter to two parents. This is who I am. I'm stubborn, emotional, quirky, and often times embarrassing. 

I'd love to say that art is my full-time job. But I'd just be lying to you if that were the case, and I'm not a good lier. During the day I'm a dental assistant. When the clock strikes 5 (or 8 depending on the day of the week), my mind starts to race with things to create. So sit back, and enjoy my crazy little life. And if you don't have an artistic bone in your body, then I encourage you to live vicariously through me! Lord knows I have enough creativity to go around.
